Day 01 Arrival & Local Sightseeing in Mumbai
Today, arrive in Mumbai – the city of dreams – and check in at your hotel. Later start your one day city tour of the city. Visit the famous Siddhivinayak Temple, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Leopold Cafe, Nariman Point, Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Marine Drive & Chowpathy Beach. Enroute enjoy the magnificent sights of - Church Gate, Victoria Terminus or CST (Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus) and Malabar Hill. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 02 Mumbai To Shirdi – Via Tryambakeshwar
Start your journey from Mumbai early in the morning. Drive to Tryambakeshwar and get blessed at the shrine of Shri Tryambakeshwar. Trimbakeshwar is considered as the most sacred town India. There are many reasons for this belief. Godavari originates from the Brahmagiri hills in this town and it is believed that it is the birth place of Lord Ganesha, known as place of Tri-Sandhya Gayatri. This place is believed to be the holiest and ideal place to do Shradh ceremony, a Hindu ritual for the salvation of the soul. Later, enjoy a city drive in Nashik for some interesting local sightseeing in this city of grapes. Then proceed to the holy shrine of Shri Sai Baba at Shirdi. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 Shani Shingnapur Excursion
Today you can attend the most sought Kakad aarti in Shirdi. The whole village and every corner of it have some association with the great saint. The great saint left for heavenly abode in 1918 and his Samadhi is visited by thousands of tourists even today. After a relaxed Sai-Darshan, check out of the hotel and drive to Shani Shingnapur. The number of its unbelievable miracles finds its place of pride in The Guinness book of World Records. The shrine for Shani consists of a five and a half feet high black rock installed on an open-air platform, which symbolizes the god Shani. After being blessed at this well known Shrine of Lord Shani, return to Shirdi. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 04 Shirdi to Aurangabad Via Ellora, Daulatabad & Ghrishneshwar
After breakfast proceedtowards ELLORA CAVES: well-known for its monumental caves, Ellora is a World Heritage Site. A famous Kailasa Cave. Later visit Ghrishneshwar which is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. After darshan visit to Khuldabad : A Bhadra Hanuman Temple, popular holy place, a glass work in temple is one attraction. After visiting Aurangzeb Tomb we move towards Devgiri Fort, it is a 14th century fort city. The fort also known as Daulatabad. After this wonderful visit to Ellora, proceed to the Toursim Capital of Maharashtra – Aurangabad. Check in and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 Excursion to Ajanta Caves
Post breakfast proceed to Ajanta Caves. It is world's greatest historical monument recognized by UNESCO. Arrive in Ajanta watch the scenic view of Caves from View Point. Then towards Caves, you will have to travel in pollution free vehicle, which are available from ‘’ T ’’ point at a distance of 10 km from the caves. After Caves visit- return journey to Aurangabad. Evening at leisure. Optional visit Himroo shawls & Paithani Sari centre. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Ahmadnagar – Lenyadri (Junnar) (112 km) – Bhimashankar (75 km)
Morning after breakfast drive to Lenyadri to visit Girijatmaja’s Idol. Lenyadri is the only place among Ashtavinayaka places, which is situated on mountain & in the vicinity of the buddhist caves. Girijatmaja’s idol faces east. Parvati consecrated Ganesh idol in the cave wherein she had performed penances. Out of 18 Buddhist caves on mountain, Girijatmaj Vinayak’s temple is in the eight caves. These caves are also called as Ganesh Caves. The temple is reached after climbing 307 steps. The entire temple is carved out of single stone & is facing south. In front of main Mandir, there is huge Sabhamandap (Hall) which is nearly 53 feet long & 51 feet broad & to your surprise there is not a single pillar in this Sabhamandap. It has 18 small apartments for meditation. Shree Girijatmaja’s idol is placed in the middle apartment. Further we will drive to Bhimashankar. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Bhimashankar – Mumbai (250 km)
After breakfast temple visit & local sightseeing of Bhimashankar. Bhimashankar temple is an exquisitely carved Nagra style 18th century Jyotirlinga temple erected over a self emanated Shivalinga. The Bhimashankar temple is said to have been built by Nana Phadnavis- a diplomat of the Peshwas. A well trodden trail begins right behind the temple that leads deep into the forest to Gupt bheema. It is also the origin of the river Bhima. A waterfall gushes over a stone lingam to mark the exact spot of gupt Bhima. Later in the afternoon drive to Mumbai via Lonavala. Upon arrival check into the hotel. overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Departure
Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
