Day 01 Arrive in Mumbai – Local Sightseeing
Today, arrive in Mumbai – the city of dreams – and check in at your hotel. Later start your one day city tour of the city. Visit the famous Siddhivinayak Temple, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Leopold Cafe, Nariman Point, Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Marine Drive & Chowpathy Beach. Enroute enjoy the magnificent sights of - Church Gate, Victoria Terminus or CST (Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus) and Malabar Hill. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 02 Drive from Mumbai Lonavala
Start your journey from Mumbai in the morning. Reach Lonavala and check in at the hotel. Eye catching scenic attractions make this place a grandeur spot for holiday vacations. Cool climate, serene ambience and all facilities for secluded stay are the great offers of this natural gift. Monsoon is the best climate with waterfalls, thriving lakes with full of water and lush greeneries all around. Chikki, the hard candy sweet, is a specialty item in Lonavala and is famous among the visitors to Lonavala. Enjoy your evening at Lions Point, a scenic point midway between Bhushi Dam and Amby Valley. Enjoy the dense fog and the famous Corn-Bhajjiyas. Spend your evening at the Kumar resort Junction. Day 03 Lonavala Local Sightseeing
Today after breakfast enjoy Lonavala Local sightseeing. Visit Lohagad, which literally means Iron fort. It was an important hill fort used extensively by Chatrapati Shivaji. It has a long history and was used by all dynasties who ruled Vidharbha and Maratha kingdoms. The fort is placed at an altitude of more than 1050 meters. It takes approx 1 hour to climb up the fort. The fort is well maintained and is a must see when in Lonavala. Post lunch visit Lonavala Lake is also known as Monsoon Lake as it dries up during the winters and gets filled with gushing water during monsoons. This lake, built around 1876, is a picturesque picnic spot in Lonavala. This location is gorgeous with natural beauty and scenic surroundings. The source of the Lonavala Lake is the famous river Indrayani. Later get drenched in Bushi Dam which is one of the majestic picnic spots in Lonavala. The Dam is magnificent during the monsoons with water gushing out through the dam make exhilarating waterfalls. The Dam is located at the backdrop of scenic hilly terrains and lush green environments. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 Lonavala - Mahabaleshwar (5 hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards mahabaleshwar. Enjoy a scenic drive through evergreen Western Ghats and reach Mahabaleshwar. Check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy your evening at the Venna Lake in Mahabaleshwar. The Venna Lake is spread over an area of 28 acres and its average depth is 10 feet. The lake is fed by repeated springs. The area encircling the lake is full of flowers and greenery. The Venna Lake is a tourist’s attraction as it has boating facilities and stalls for games. It also has snacks stalls. This lake is an ideal spot for enjoying activities like fishing, boating and horse riding. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 Mahabaleshwar Local Sightseeing
Today after breakfast drive to Old Mahabaleshwar (Kshetra Mahabaleshwar). The important site of prayer is a ‘lingam’ which is of black stone. The temple is the land mark of Mahabalewshwar. The beautiful temple with mesmerizing idols is covered with an encircled wall raised up to 5 feet. In the inner part of the temple lies the idol of Lord Shiva and other deities. Pilgrims throng in great numbers to have a glance of the “Shiva Linga” established as a black stone. According to Hindu Mythology the five holy rivers Krishna, Venna, Koyana, Savitri and Gayatri five springs flowing separately then joining up as one leading to Goumukh (Cowface) spout. On the north side there is a similar conduit through which holy Ganga appears every twelve years. You can visit various points on the way – Arthurs seat, Sydney Point, Parsi point etc for breathtaking views of the valley. Evening at leisure. You can spend your time strolling in the well known Mahabaleshwar Market.
Day 06 Panchgani Local Sightseeing & Depart with Happy memories
Today after breakfast, check out of the hotel and dive to Tableland. Tableland has been credited with the privilege of being Asia’s second longest mountain Plateau. This is a wide expanse of laterite rock and this place offers the grandeur view of Panchgani hill station itself. One can get breathtaking views of Rajpuri caves and the place known as “Devil’s Kitchen from here. Tableland provides a natural protection for the Panchgani from strong winds, heavy rains and it helps Panchgani to keep its ambience enjoyable for tourists. Table land serves as a great sports land, Horse riding and games place for children and young. Later drive back to Mumbai for your onwards journey. The tour ends with Happy memories!
